ABOUT US

Eminence Dance Academy was opened in 2021 by Principal Miss Emilie Woan, with the outlook of teaching dance as a discipline, in a positive and encouraging environment. Enabling every dance experience to be inspiring and every student to shine bright. 

 

We believe in providing opportunities for growth and recognition, coaching dance students to awaken their full potential. As part of the EDA curriculum, students have the chance to participate in esteemed examinations such as Royal Academy of Dancing Ballet and Rambert Grade Exams. These examinations not only assess technique and proficiency but also foster a sense of achievement and personal development. We have performance opportunities throughout the year, including the Eminence Annual Showcase. Dedicated students are also invited to join our Competition Squad who compete nationally. 

 

The home base for all dance classes is Westlands: Entertainment Venue & Sports Centre (BA20 2DD) in the heart of Yeovil, Somerset. More details on our venue can be found here.​

We welcoming children as soon as they start to walk to 'Eminence First Steps' programme (teacher & parent led sessions). Independent dance lessons for all genders start from 3 years old, and continues up to adults and senior citizens. Find out about the full range of classes here.

Eminence Dance Academy (EDA) prides itself on producing great technical dancers and exceptional performers. Advanced training involves dancers attending multiple classes, 3-5 days a week, including cross training with athletic sports development.
